We are a family-owned small batch coffee roaster. Established in 2013, Mountain Grounds was birthed from what started as a passion to serve people and pursue the next best cup of coffee that evolved into a passion to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers by sharing our love for the coffee culture with our communities.
Our family is 7 generation Montanans with adventure in our bones. That adventure has brought us many places and allowed us the opportunity to start our first cafe and roastery in Martinez Ca. Throughout our travels we have been able to share our craft throughout the country and around the world, including our home state.
We are not only dedicated to roasting each small batch in pursuit of perfection, but we are dedicated to helping small farmers sustain and thrive.
We methodically source from farmers around the world that are making a positive impact in the communities and using responsible and sustainable farming practices. Having the privilege of visiting some coffee farming communities we find it imperative to honor each hand in the coffee process by putting our absolute best foot forward in quality and education for the consumers.
We could not do any of this without our great team of Baristas and Roaster! A big shout out to them as they are the heart and soul of all we accomplish here!
